DOUWE JACOBS is ILUMl‘s creative director. He is art directing the ILUMI collections, cooperating with new designers and adding new designs on a regular basis himself.
Douwe first made his name with his award winning foldable Flux Chair back in 2011. Next to developing new concepts like Walter Wallet and Humble lights in his Amsterdam studio, he’s been involved in the shift from Milanlo to ILUMI since 2013.

Dish is what we call ‘sculptural lighting’. Its big eye-catcher is the huge dish - surprisingly thin - that is intricately spun from a single piece of metal.
